Hermann Monument 2015 hours
10 a.m. - 7 p.m.:  Daily from Memorial Day, May 26 through Labor Day, September 1; Saturdays and Sundays in May and September; Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the first three weekends in October.


2017 Hermann Monument admission fee
    $2.25  per person.  Children ages 5 and under admitted free with a paying adult. For safety reasons, all youth age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Monument will be closed for safety reasons during inclement weather and may reopen that day if weather conditions improve.

Group Requests for reservations during non-normal operation hours should be made at least one week in advance of visit.  2015 non-normal operation hours admission fee is $16 per hour with two hour minimum and $2.25 per person with a ten person minimum.  Admission requests in late October through April may be denied because monument is closed for winter.  The Interpretive Center (inside the base of Monument) is closed during the winter off season.  


Hermann Heights Park Shelters are available for rent in two different time slots: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. or 4 - 11 p.m. Rental fee is $42.00 Resident/$46.20 Non-Resident and can be made by calling the New Ulm Park and Recreation Office at 507-359-8344.
